Outlook Backup Tool Gone Missing
Office 2003, Outlook Backup Tool installed, WinXP Pro SP3
Last week the File menu, Backup was present in Outlook. Now it's gone. Worst, cannot remove via Add/Remove Programs because it no longer listed, but if I try to reinstall it, the PSTBackup installer says I do have it installed. How do I get Outlook Backup to appear in the File menu, or reinstall if it is not listed in Add/Remove? NOTE: MS Install Cleanup does not list it. |

Outlook Backup Tool Gone Missing
Try;
The add-in may not be registered correctly. So, try registering the dll with the following steps. 1. Exit Outlook. 2. On the Start menu click Run 3. In the Open box type the following and click OK. regsvr32 "c:\program files\microsoft office\office\addins\outbak.dll" NOTE: You may need to adjust the above path to Outbak.dll to match the location on your computer. 4. After running the command line start Outlook. - The above frm an earlier post - Also see http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;810932 "Tecknomage" wrote in message ...
