Default Concurrent installations of Office 2003 and 2007 (disregard Outloo

I haven't been able to locate any documentation from Microsoft regarding the
concurrent use of Office 2003 and 2007 on the same machine. From the forums
I've read, users seem to have issues with "installing components..." messages
appearing when switching between versions, problems with the applications
sharing common registry keys, etc. Is it possible to run both versions
concurrently (and smoothly) without having to partition the HD and install
each on a separate drive?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Do these two versions feature the same components?
Is there a specific reason for wanting the two versions installed
concurrently?

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928091/en-us has all the information you
need to run both versions of Office on the same computer. It even has links
for Office 2003 and earlier.
