Default Outlook 2007

Outlook is suddenly displaying my new mail, replies and forwards with
all kinds of editing symbols and try as I may I cannot get the program
to stop. I have looked for a way to bring the program back to oroginal
default settinsgs but have not found that function.

So I have deleted the program, deleted the profile in control
panelmailprofiles and reinstalled, but each time I reinstall the
program I still get the same screwy displays. I thought it might have
something to do with the fact that I make the program point to my
exisiting mail store, but I got the same display issues when I left it
with the data folder the new install created.

Can anyone tell me how to get Outlook 2007 either back to it's default
settings/preferences or how to install a new copy without reverting
back to the issues the old copy produced? Somehow I have to completely
clean the system of any remnants of the previous install, but I have
been unable to make that happen.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

David

Did you try pressing Ctrl-Shift-8?
