Saving OE Settings

Here is my situation:
I've 2 hard drives on this PC. Only one has an OS on it, C:, Windows ME. I
use other drive for storage/backup, D:.
I'm going to install WIN XP SP2 on my boot disk, C:, & need to know what I
need to do to save all my OE settings. I currently have my OE store on D:
and copy of Address Book on a Flash Drive.

Bruce,
I created your suggested Folder structure on my storage, D:. hard drive.
All went well until I got to your Backup instructions Step 1. You say
export 4 keys as *.reg files in the Registry Keys Folder. I can't get this
step to work. Do I put a name or something in the place of the "*"? Do I
export the last entry for each key you list? Explain the step a little
clearer for me please.

as a *.reg file and just have to be named as far as I know.

I tried to reproduce your situation, but I'm only using one drive. That
shouldn't make a difference, but I'm not sure.

I use OEQB as a backup of everything in OE, so I have never had to do what
you are now.

I can only guess that you replace "*"? with a name. A normal export has the
name field blank waiting for you to enter a name of your choosing.

My tool of choice:

You create your own folder. I created one in My Doc's and named it OEQB.

the instructions are fairly easy to follow.

Bruce, I did that but it still tells me I need to Select a backup folder
when I double-click OEBQ.exe. Then says to by clicking Tools menu but only
see 2 selections, File & Help when the OEBQ Window opens.

Go to File | Create new backup or something like that. There are menu
options under the File menu.
