Excel process won't close after OLE container is closed
Running Office XP Professional - this problem just started about 3 days ago
with no changes to servers, PCs, etc. User opens Word document with linked Excel file, makes changes to Word doc, saves, closes, but the Excel application process won't close. If another user tries to access the Word document, it looks like it is still being edited by previous user because the Excel process never closed. This seems to be happening on machines with both SP2 and SP3 installed. File is on a network share.
