Default Alternative to docmd.openreport?

I have a secured FE/BE with no permissions for the default Admin user and
when I try to open any reports I get an error message that says I don't read
permissions on the table.

I am looking for an alternative to the docmd.openreport for use in vba. i
have looked at the Report object but not sure if the Open method will open
the report in preview mode?

Thanks
Jerry
