Subform Calculations
I have a continous subform and a calculated value (using one of the fields in
the subform) in the parent form. When I am on the first recrods of the subform the calculated value is update when I tab to the next record. However, when I'm on the last record, I can't tab anymore. If I press tab and/or enter the calculated value in the parent field isn't updated. How can I fix this? |

Subform Calculations
awach,
Do a recalc in the subform's OnCurrent event and in the AfterUpdate event(s) of any controls involved in the calculation. Then the result will always display correctly. For the OnCurrent event and any controls in the subform, the code to recalculate the main form is: Me![Parent].Form.Recalc For any involved controls in the main form: Me.Recalc Hope that helps.
