Default Text Formatting in Smart Art

How can I override a pre-defined format in Smart Art? I have some text that
is hyperlinked, and I do NOT want it to appear in a different color or
underline. I cannot seem to modify that text to look the same as that
without hyperlinks.

Hi Margie

AFAIK that can't be done - the workarounds are either to link to the actual
shape (in which case you need to ungroup the SmartArt which will convert it
to shapes - do this once you are finished and keep a copy of the SmartArt
either on a hidden slide or off the slide in case you want to amend later),
or to add 99% transparent shapes over the SmartArt ones and use them to
hyperlink from.
