A field calculation error occurred in record 1
I am getting this message and am not doing any calculations. I am just
merging data. Very simple. However I did find that this documnent (which was sent to me from the state of Texas) has some macros that are not accessable. I just got the idea to check from something I read in this group. Is there a way to get rid of thes macros? Maybe this is what is causing the problem. Thanks, |

A field calculation error occurred in record 1
Sorry everyone. Word 2000. I am doing a form letter filled in from a
datasource built by my database program. I use this method on many many documents. this is the only time I have had any problems at all. I tried making removing all but the first page to try to simplify. but I just don't know how to track down a "field calculation" error. Thanks in advance, "Free Agent99" wrote: I am getting this message and am not doing any calculations. I am just merging data. Very simple. Ok, I found a fix. When the document merges, I get the error. But when I
close the error, the merged document is there looking just fine. So I saved the new document and then rebuilt it as the merge document. Apparently the new document does not carry the macros or the errors with it. Thanks for looking. "Free Agent99" wrote: Sorry everyone. Word 2000.
