Blank Form - Empty Query
I have a form that coming up blank when the query that drives the form is
empty. Is there anyway to get around this. One problem is that there are other controls on the form the operator needs to follow. If all else fails - if there was an event "on No data" like in a report where I could redirect the operator down another path? -- Thanks for any assistance |

Blank Form - Empty Query
NNlogistics,
There may be more elegant solutions but... this should work. Assuming you're clicking a button to open the form, you could always interrogate the query with a DCount before the form opens. 0 records... then open the form normally. = 0 records... then post msg to user "No Data", and exit sub without opening the form. -- hth Al Campagna Candia Computer Consulting - Candia NH http://home.comcast.net/~cccsolutions "NNlogistics" wrote in message ...
