Outlook won't send mail from outbox but will receive mail...

Whenever I attempt to send/receive mail from outlook, it
receives my mail, but I get this error message:

The connection to the server has failed.
Account: 'mail.optonline.net',
Server: 'mail.optonline.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number:
0x800CCC0E

This has been going on for about a week and everything
was fine before that. I don't know if I set up my mail
account incorrectly, or if this is another type of
problem...HELP!

Antivirus programs set to scan incoming mail can cause these types of
problems. Try disabling that option and then check the settings in OE under
Tools/Accounts/Mail tab and double click the optline.net account, then click
the servers tab and make sure the info there is exactly the way optline.net
instructed you when you created the account.
