Default Multiple Entries for each person in Address Book

I am running XP Pro and have just updated to MS Outlook 2003. All is running well and I am very pleased. Wished I had done this sooner and I am enjoying the new features and layout.

When I am creating a new email message and I click on To and select an address book, I get more than just the email entry of the Contact, if they have extra email addresses or fax numbers.

How can I get just the default email address for each contact and nothing else? Such as in Outlook 2000.

Many Thanks in advance.

Outlook has never done this except for the old IMO mode.
The standard behavior for the Outlook Address book is to display all
electronic addresses (both fax and e-mail). That behavior cannot be changed.
The only way to prevent the display of fax numbers is to store them in a
different field or to disguise them (e.g., precede them with an alpha
character) so that Outlook won't recognize them as phone numbers.
There are also a number of utilities available that can do this for you
automatically. Some are listed he
