Error when using requery action
I have an form that has default view as continuous forms.
There is a command button that requeries the form though a macro (Requery Action). I have converted this application to an MDE. Everything works fine on my pc. The problem is when I move the application to other pc's and click the button, I get a pop-up error message "Invalid object or no longer valid" followed by another pop-up error message, "unknown function name", then the application crashes. I cannot understand why it works on some pc's and not others. All are running Access 2000. The same problem occurs with the MDB. Any suggestions????? |

Any suggestions????? -------------------- Since the error occurs on both the MDB and MDE versions of your application, that eliminates the possibility of a bad or corrupt MDE. The most likely cause is a bad Access install. Check the versions of Access on the machines. Compare the "good" PCs and that "bad" ones. Perhaps the bad ones need a service pack or service release.
