Default Insert one PP into another keeping different templates

I have 2 PowerPoints I need to combine into one. They have different
background templates - is there a way I can keep the templates separate?
Everyone time I bring one over, it automatically adjusts to the first
PowerPoint template.

Phylliss,
I suspect you are using PPT 2000. You can't have multiple templates in that
version. In PPT2002/2003 you can.
Have a look here for some workarounds in you have PPT 2000, under the
section Multiple Design Templates Workaround you will find what you need.
If you have PPT2002/2003 look in the same link:

FYI, when I click on the pptheaven.xs3.com site I get an "adult" retail
store site. Am I the only one?
