Default Looping Powerpoint Presentation

I am running a .pps file on a large monitor for our employees. It loops fine
for a couple of hours and then locks up at the end of the show. Is there
some way to make this presentation continuously loop for several days. The
presentation is 5 minutes long. I am using the free Powerpoint viewer to run
the presentation. I also tried running it as a .ppt it also locked up. I do
not understand why it will loop for awhile and then just stop. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
