Stencil Shape - default formatting

Does anyone know how to set default formatting options
for shapes in a stencil, so that every time you drag a
shape on to the diagram it has this formatting, in
particular the font size is currently set to Arial 10, I
want to set it to Arial 8?

The shapes in the stencils are called "masters," and I guess you want to edit the master to contain text of a different size. Right click the stencil title and click "Edit." Then you should be able to right-click on the shape you want to change and click "Edit Master". To change the font size, just changing what it says in the formatting toolbar won't work, I think. You have to double click on the shape as if you were going to add text, then change the font size. When you're done changing the shape, close the window, and you will be prompted to update the master, so say "yes." When you then add the shape from the stencil, it should be correct. However, you need to save the stencil also, so right click on the title bar and choose "Save".
