Default Visio to AutoCAD again

When I do FileSave asAutoCAD dwg it still does not save anything to my folder. It is like Visio just ignores the command. Someone with AutoCAD, please help.

I've seen several postings over the years about the resulting DWG file being
empty, but I have not seen anything where the DWG file is not created.

Have you tried making a test drawing with a single rectangle on it to see if
you can save it to DWG?

FWIW, I was able to save as an ACAD file and open it with ACAD 2k4.
I am using Visio 2k3 pro trial version.

I just downloaded a trial version, converted a Visio file to AutoCad file. When trying to open it from Cad2004, I get an error and can't open it. Any suggestions?
