Default Adding toolbar buttons for functions from the Menu?

I use Outlook Express for newsgroups, but Outlook for mail.
In OE I would like to make a few buttons that I could place up with New
Post, Reply Group, Find, Headers, etc that would be for changing the
Current View from Show All to other view choices. Is there anyway to do
this?

Steve

ViewLayout. Enable the Views Bar. See this also:

Change ID's, Switch between Plain Text & HTML and much more.

Not that this is an issue with me, but I tried that Views bar and couldn't
see what it gives you that ViewCurrent view doesn't.

While we're on toolbars, why isn't there a "Copy" available on the toolbar
when you read a mail? It's there on a new mail or a reply, but in my case, I
have more use for the feature on mails that I'm reading.

It's certainly not a major undertaking to hit CTRL+C, but a toolbar option
would be handier.

Not a thing, but the OP wanted it on the toolbar, and that was the
closest choice.

We don't make em. We just try to help out. I don't know why the
designers didn't give you this option.

It's necessary to see the buttons that OETool provides
(http://www.oehelp.com).

Thank you Bruce and Frank. And Bruce, trust me, in no way, shape or form do
I hold you or the others here responsible for any deficiencies. :-)

Actually, it does have a "feechur" to it that I am making more and more
use of. Doubleclick in the Views bar. Now type the first letter of
the View that you want to switch to... eg

Works well until you decide that you want to scroll the Preview pane
(darn bottom posters) or go to the next message in a thread.
For those cases I *try* to remember to Ctrl-o Open the message I want
to scroll in its own window and use F3 with a space (instead of Ctrl-
which works just as well but seems more awkward to press).

I would vote for a Next and Previous button first,
either that or something less awkward than Ctrl- and Ctrl-
as the keystrokes.

FWIW
