Excel 2007 Column Maximum
How do I change Excel 2007 so I can use more than the 256 columns that are
currently displayed as default. I realise that in the 2007 version the maximum columns is controlled by memory of which I have heaps. Thanks Peter |

Excel 2007 Column Maximum
The maximum number of columns is 16,384 and is not controlled by memory as you
state. If you are opening older version workbooks directly into 2007 you will see the 256 column limit. Save the workbook as 2007 then re-open should do the trick Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Sat, 26 Apr 2008 17:15:00 -0700, Peter C wrote: How do I change Excel 2007 so I can use more than the 256 columns that are currently displayed as default.
