I upgraded 02 to 07 lost 50% of the SHAPES, where are they?

2007 Visio is lacking 50% of the shapes i had in 2002 version, how can I get
them back. For example I am missing, Vehicles, Kitchen and Baths, etc.

Did you have Visio 2002 Pro, and have you upgraded to Visio 2007
Standard?

If 2002 was installed, and upgraded to 2007, the 2002 stencils should still
be there, but not necessarily shown, because V2007 will point to its own
folders/files.

Do a Windows search for *.vss and/or *.vst to see where they are. For
example, Office 2002/2003 files may be in
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Visio10\Solutions,
while Visio 2007 files may be in .......Visio12....

Earlier version stencils can be used in later versions of Visio.

Once you have the path to the 2002 shapes, you can add that to the shape
search order: menu bar Tools Options Advanced Tab File Paths...
button. There you can enter the path to your shapes.
