Zoom to cursor location on page?
Does anyone know how to change the settings to when i'm ctrl+scrolling that
it will zoom to where my cursor is on the page and not to the center of the page. Using Visio 2003 The weird thing is I have other co-workers using the same Visio 2003 and theirs automatically zooms to the cursor location. Under Tools-Gen tab. I have Enable live dynamics and Enable connector splitting checked. My other co-workers have all of these checked as well and they zoom to the cursor. I'm confused as how to change the settings so i am able to zoom to cursor. Anyone have any ideas? It would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance. |

Zoom to cursor location on page?
If you select that checkbox it only zooms to what you have selected. If you
don't have anything selected it zooms to the center of the page. I would like for it to zoom to the cursor whether something is selected or not. Visio 2003.
"I would like for it to zoom to the cursor whether something is selected or not" That's exactly how it behaves on my computer. Maybe ill see if there's any updates i can run to maybe fix it.. Thanks for the help though guys. "Philippe C." wrote: Visio 2003. My 30 years in computers suggest you let your colleagues have a try on your

Zoom to cursor location on page?
I'm using Visio2007 Pro and mine zooms to selected objects. I'm not sure
what you mean by zoom to 'where the cursor is'. Do you mean where the mouse pointer is? "jvk" wrote: LOL... Yea already have... Does the same thing to them. Zoom to cursor location on page?
What i'm talking about is when you ctrl+scroll it centers the page where your
cursor is located at. If you cursor is at the bottom right corner of the page, that is where the page centers to. Once you get used to cursor zooming, zooming to selection or center of page is very very annoying and hard to adjust back to. What i do now since i'm unable to figure out how to change this, is i hold Ctrl+Shift+left click and that zooms to where you cursor is located at. If you right click while holding ctrl+shift it zooms back out. "RogerC" wrote: I'm using Visio2007 Pro and mine zooms to selected objects. I'm not sure what you mean by zoom to 'where the cursor is'. Zoom to cursor location on page?
I think the correct term for what you're calling the cursor is actually
'mouse pointer'. I understand now what you're talking about. When I 'Ctrl+Shift+Left Click' it zooms to where my mouse pointer is. I like that too. When I Ctrl+Scroll it doesn't work. I'm using a mouse with a scroll-wheel, but I'm not using IntelliMouse software. I think what Paul Herber was suggesting is that if you are using IntelliMouse software and you set the option on the General tab in the Options window, scrolling with the mouse wheel will do what you're wanting. Are you running IntelliMouse? "jvk" wrote: What i'm talking about is when you ctrl+scroll it centers the page where your cursor is located at.
