AutoText Problem
Using Word 2010 on a Windows XP computer.
Back when we were using 2003 I could start to type in the name of an AutoText entry and the matching name would appear and I could click to confirm and the text would be inserted into my document. Since we upgraded to 2010..I still have my AutoText entries, but I can't insert them the same way (I have to do it manually). Is it because we are still on Windows XP, or am I missing a setting or step? Thanks for your help. PJ in NH |

I think I found the answer. To get this to work you have to:
go to: File Options Advanced Editing Options check AutoComplete suggestions |
