xl2007 3D-Rotation - Grabbing and Turning
Hi,
I used to be able to "grab" a 3d surface graph in xl 2003 and rotate it with no problem, the bosses loved it. I can't seem to do this in xl2007 has the "Grab" feature been discontinued? I sincerely hope not as it was very useful... Can someone tell me if it still works, and if so how do I do it? I have tried and tried but not getting anywhere... Many thanks in advance regards Sean

Doesn't work any longer in 2007. It was too complex to implement with the

Hi,
I can not find anywhere that allows you to use the mouse to drag the rotation. If you right click the chart area there is an option 3d-Rotation. This gives you access to the format dialog with controls to rotated the chart. Or on the Layout contextual tab there is a 3-d rotation button within the Background group. and while the answers answered the question, the situation is useless. My bosses will more than likely regress to 2003 now and stay there...talk about going forward and taking a step back... regards Sean
