I am graphing standard normal distribution, i.e.
bell-shaped curves. How can I shade an area under this curve?

Leslie,

Use an Area Graph.

If you want the whole area shaded, then it's simple.

If you want only part shaded, then you need to use a helper column that extracts the data points that you want shaded, and only
shade that dataseries.
