Default Can't activate addins

I read that the slowness of Outlook 2007 was in part due to the addins, and
it would help to turn them all off. So I did, it helped but I want some of
them back, namely the iTunes Outlook Addin and BitDefender AntiSpam Toolbar.
However when I go to Tools Reliability Center Addins Go, check the
boxes for those 2 addins and choose ok, nothing happens. I tried to reset the
PC and Outlook, but nothing happens. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

If you are using Vista, you might need to run Outlook elevated to activate
those add-ins if they have added themselves at machine level instead of at
user level.
See http://www.msoutlook.info/question/87
It discusses the reverse but it still applies.
