New Database Form Template
Using Access 2007 with Vista Ultimate
After creating a new database, when I attempt to create a new form an area opens up that is not a Form Template. It will allow me to add controls, fields & etc but it does not behave like a form. For example after saving the form and opening it in Form View I cannot move or resize the form. When I return to Design View and check the Property Sheet the Border Style is Sizable like it should be but the Moveable Property is set to "No" and it cannot be changed to "Yes." I have tried saving/creating the database in different versions. Doesn't help. The work around I use is taking an older database that works, deleting all objects and saving and using it like a template. Not a good solution, but workable. Thanks for any and all assistance. New Database Form Template
you mention manually adding controls...
do a sanity check by using the new form wizard sourced on a table/query...where it adds all the controls....and see how that works.... -- NTC "Byron" wrote: Using Access 2007 with Vista Ultimate After creating a new database, when I attempt to create a new form an area opens up that is not a Form Template.
