Installation Problem, Please
Hello,
Trying to install MS OFFICE, the Enterprise edition. Running XP. It has two disks; one has a bunch of stuff I don't really want. This one, of course, installed just fine. The other disk has ACCESS, which I do want. Every time I put it in the CD reader, absolutely nothing happens. And I mean nothing. No error msgs or anything. If I go to Windows Explorer\My Computer, and look at the CD drive there, it comes back and tells me that there is no disk. Have recently done an HD XP re-install I have no way of knowing if this would also have happened prior to the XP re-install. Funny that the other disk works just fine, though. Any thoughts as to why this second disk won't come up or register anywhere ? Of course it might be a bad disk, but frankly I doubt that is the reason. Any thoughts, or things to try, would be most appreciated. Regards, Bob |

Corrupt disk, perhaps? Can you try it in a different machine to check? You
might also try cleaning it. -- Susan Ramlet ----------------------------- Please reply to the newsgroups where all may benefit. "Robert11" wrote in message ... That is the prize for a pirated version of office Enterprise. On Office Enterprise
Access is on the first(1st) disk and not on the second. What can I tell you. Nothing as far as your issue goes. -- Peter Please Reply to Newsgroup for the benefit of others Requests for assistance by email can not and will not be acknowledged. "Robert11" wrote in message ... I have an Office Enterprise 2007 install CD. There is only one CD. Whether you know it or not, you have a pirated version of Office. There's no support for pirated versions, and not only because piracy is unethical: A pirated version could have significant changes which people familiar with a genuine version cannot possibly know about.
