Having Word Icon Not Show "Microsoft Word Document" & Size (as well as Doc name): How ?
Hello:
Using Word 2002 and XP. Is there any way when one saves a Word document, Not to have the icon show "Microsoft Word Document", and the size ? I wish to have the icon name only show the name of the document, that I assign. Also: Any way to have the Word icon modified with a pix, or dwg., etc. ? Thanks, Bob |

Are you referring to the view in Windows Explorer? You can change the view to see Icons, but nothing permanent. Anything further, and you would probably be modifying the product which is forbitted by the EULA. |

Both of those are a function of the operating system. Please open
Explorer and click on Tools, Folder Options to see what is available to play with. If you have more questions please post to the WindowsXP group instaed.
