Forum reader for Outlook
I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to read and write Microsoft
forums in Outlook, besides Newshound. I tried Newshound and it continually corrupted my PST files, so I gave up on it. But with Microsoft eliminating newsgroups for forums I want a way to keep communicating. It works with OE/Mail/LiveMail, same as NNTP did.

Forum reader for Outlook
Yes it does, but except for LiveMail which I can't stand, none of those
work on Win7. The question was how to be on forums with Outlook, and so far the answer appears to be that one cannot in a reliable manner. Outlook has never supported newsgroups or forums - that is not changing.
The NNTP bridge works with other NNTP readers besides the OE/Mail family so you may be able to use the bridge with the same newsreader you use currently. -- "Don Burn" wrote in message news:40D64A36D21F4FBDBCAD27CF4F74BE28@Destiny... Forum reader for Outlook
Actually there are plenty of 3-rd party solutions for supporting
Newsgroups with Outlook, and even one that supports forums. Unfortunately the forum product is Newshound which continually corrupts my outlook files so I have abandoned that. And none of the newsreaders for outlook are supported by Microsoft's NNTP bridge.
