US Date Field in Metric Borders and Title Stencil
Hi,
I'm using Visio 2003 Pro SP1. When I drag a "Title block corporate 2" onto my page from the "Borders and Titles (Metric)" stencil it has a date field which gets updated to the current date. Great - except that it comes out in US date format (mm/dd/yyyy) and I'm in the UK where the convention is dd/mm/yyyy. My computer has it's keyboard and locale set to UK - I can get pound signs and @ in the right places - so I'm assuming that it's not OS related. Can I change the format of that date field in the "Title block corporate 2"? Thanks Chas |

Select the shape, then click again on the date portion to subselect it.
Then choose Insert Field and change your Language to English (UK). This should get things configured correctly. You can make this change across your entire drawing by going to File Properties and changing the document language to English (UK). -- Mark Nelson Microsoft Corporation This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
