Default Microsoft Outlook frrustration

Can anyone explain in layman's terms how to prevent Outlook 2007 from
stopping without explanation? I'm using VISTA. No one you can reacy by
phone can fix the problem.

The message I received is: Outlook has encountered a problem and mus close.
Sometimes it closes and restarts. Sometimes I have to restart it.

Tried loading Outlook in its safe mode ("outlook.exe /safe") to
eliminate any add-ons from loading when Outlook starts?

Have a look in the Event Viewer (Applications) and see what it says for
the time when it happened.
