Default Where are custom bullet points stored?

Hi there

Apologies if this has already come up before...

My company had a bullet point designed for our presentations, and all users of PowerPoint could use that bullet as it was in the Picture Bullet menu. However, most of our PCs were rebuilt and so the bullet has been lost (the original can't be found either). One of my colleagues still has the bullet on her Picture Bullet menu... but I can't work out where the image is stored on her system (she's using Ppt XP/WinXP.. the rest of us are now on Ppt2003).

Do you have any ideas on how I can locate this bullet so it can be used by others?

Thanks ever so much for any help you can provide,
Claire

Try saving that presentation to HTML and see if your original picture is
saved within the same folder as the HTML presentation. Just a thought.

Also, maybe it is possible to programmatically retrieve the bullet?

Have her create a very simple presentation that uses the picture bullet (and little
else) then save the presentation as a web page. That will create one main html file
plus a whole folder full of assorted support files. Among the support files, I'm
pretty sure you'll find one image that's ... voila ... the bullet picture.

Many thanks to you both. That has indeed solved the problem. I've spent ages trying to sort it out so am well chuffed! My company create educational resources which embed swfs in PowerPoint so you can expect more posts from me in future...

Cheers
Claire
