Footer from Master page not converting to PDF
After I convert my Publisher document to a PDF using the PDF icon on my
toolbar the footer doesn't show up. But when I convert the file using the print to postscript it prints, but the hyperlinks don't convert. How can I fix this? I |

Select the printer (Adobe PDF or Distiller) in page setup and then applying the
footer. -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com http://officebeta.iponet.net/en-us/p...649111033.aspx "Lauren" wrote in message ... Umm... where do you "apply the footer"? I don't see it in page setup.
Thanks. Footer from Master page not converting to PDF
When you do a page setup, you also select your printer, in your case it is the
PDF printer. This should keep your footers (page numbers) from dropping off. You won't see the footers on page setup. Footers are on the Master Page (Format, Headers and Footers). Hyperlinks are created within the PDF document. -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com http://officebeta.iponet.net/en-us/p...649111033.aspx "Lauren" wrote in message ... Footer from Master page not converting to PDF
Unfortunatly when I convert to a PDF by doing a file/print it does not retain
my hyperlinks. But if I click on the Adobe PDF Convertor Icon on my toolbar it retains the hyperlinks, but not the footer. I can't win! Any fix to this? Thanks! Are you using the beta? I cannot replicate your problem. If you have your
publication setup for a printer has margin limitations, it very well could be Publisher is using this page setup. This is why I suggested setting up your page using the PDF printer. -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com http://officebeta.iponet.net/en-us/p...649111033.aspx "Lauren" wrote in message ... Sorry I should have said I also followed your instructions to "apply master
