MS Office 2007 trial - expires 2002?!!
I downloaded a MS Office 2007 trial, but it says that it expired in 2002.
I may need to buy MS Excel for one spreadsheet, so the trial was an ideal way to test that theory. However, it refuses to run because it thinks that it expired on 31st Dec 2002 (five years earlier than the 2007 date of the software!) I've put the screenshots at http://steve-parker.org/urandom/comm...s+2002&art=844 |

If it even had one on it when the computer was first bought it is now expired even if never used. You may be able to try Open Office and see if it will do your Excel spreadsheet the way you need it done. It is free, includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint work-almost-alikes. Will read and write to the native Office files in most circumstances and better yet it is free (oh, I already said that.) Download from www.openoffice.org. |

MS Office 2007 trial - expires 2002?!!
For all intents and purposes Office 2007 trial has been
discontinued by Microsoft and instead people should start downloading Office 2010 Beta from he http://www.microsoft.com/office/2010/en/default.aspx Office 2007 should in fact be removed from the Microsoft web but due to other priorities Microsoft hasn't been able to do so. It has removed some of them but Professional is still there but I suspect it won't be there for long. hth steveparker wrote: I downloaded a MS Office 2007 trial, but it says that it expired in 2002.
