Default meeting update

When you receive a notification of a meeting update that changes the
date/time of the meeting, can you get information on the previous time/date
of the meeting which is now free rather than having to work through your
calendar to see the space that it has released?

Outlook 2007 has this feature but I don't think any previous versions did.

After furious head scratching, bucket asked:
