Opening files in Office 2003
I am having a small problem with Office 2003 Pro that I don't
experience with any other program on my machine. Here is a screen captu http://s657.photobucket.com/albums/u...ent=office.jpg Normally when I click my mouse wheel all programs accept it as a double-click. Office 2003 does not: I have to double-click either with the left button or with the wheel. Another thing I have noticed is that when I select a file to open (jensen article.doc), the file's name normally appears in the "file name" space next to the 'open" button. This does not happen in Office 2003. Everything in the program works fine - very happy with the software - so I guess the question is just plain curiosity. I have tried reinstalling, repairing, opening as administrator, compat. to WinXP (I have Vista Premium), don't know what else to try. Even updated my mouse drivers. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. |

Microsoft Intellipoint allows for Program specific Mouse Button
assignments. Perhaps download and install that. tony vella wrote: I am having a small problem with Office 2003 Pro that I don't experience with any other program on my machine.
