Default Power Point Viewer

PP Viewer opens the pps file and plays the music but doesn't show the slides
or for that matter alter the desktop view in any way. I can not find a single
response anywhere from any one else having this problem.
Thanks,

Default Power Point Viewer

Is it possible the Viewer is "displaying" on a 2nd monitor that doesn't
exist?
