Default Error 1720 when trying to install Office XP

I get the following error when trying to install Office XP Pro on my Vista OS
PC:

"Error 1720. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A
script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your
support personnel or package vendor."

This is a new pc running Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 and have downloaded
and installed the latest Windows Installer update (v4.5). Note: I have
already successsfully installed previously on my XP Media Center SP3 OS pc
AND on my Vista Home Premium laptop with no problems.

Genarally the Office Pro Licence only allows for 2 concurrent installations,
and not 3
Also its not fully compatible with Vista, allthough most problems revolve
around Outlook

My copy is an enterprise 'homeuse' license, so its not limitted to # of
installs. The error message is specific to something going on with Installer
though. I'm thinking it might be a Vista x64/Installer issue?

If you have an Enterprise Liscense then you must seek support from either
the supplier or MS volume licensing, direct
