Set file location defaults
Using Publisher 2007
Where can I set the file location defaults? There is no Office Button and I cannot seem to find anything under Tools/Customize or Tools/Options. Cannot seem to find anything anywhere that would allow me to set the default file locations for Publisher 2007. |

Set file location defaults
There isn't this option in 2007. If you are using Windows XP create a folder in
*My Places*. It will be an extra click. In Vista you can create a folder in My Documents and added it to *Favorite Links.* -- Mary Sauer http://msauer.mvps.org/ "BK" wrote in message ... Set file location defaults
We are on a network and were hoping to point to the correct drive mapping
as a default location in Publisher 2007. Anyone else confused as to why the developers didn't provide a "default location" option with Publisher 2007????????? "Mary Sauer" wrote in message ... Thanks for the network warning. Office 2007 is installed on each
individual workstation. We'll just be storing the files on the network server. "Rob Giordano [MS MVP]" wrote in message ... IMO due to a major brain fart. You should really consider an arrangement where files are opened from and saved to the local disk, and then synchronised with the server post-facto. -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher http://ed.mvps.org |
