enlarge the size of the field
Doing a mail merge into a word document and in one field I need to type
rather alot of information but at the moment I can only type in so much. Is there a way to make the field bigger and type in more information. |

Where is this field? In the data source? What is the data source?

Hi Lynsay,
Presumably you're referring to a field in your datasource - one doesn't ordinarily type anything into fields in mailmerge documents (ASK & FILLIN fields are the main exceptions, for which the character limit is about 200). In addition, aside from any limitations imposed by your data source, you may run up against a 255 character limit for mergefields with some connection methods. AFAIK, you can get around this by specifying the DDE connection method. -- Cheers macropod [MVP - Microsoft Word] "Lynsay" wrote in message ...
