Default nobr tag equivalent for MS Word

I need a portion of text not to be broken between lines. Somethig
similar to the nobr tag in html.
Is there a way to achieve this in Word??

Thanks.

Nonbreaking space. Insert it with Ctrl+Shift+spacebar.
Nonbreaking hyphen. Insert it with Ctrl+Shift+hyphen.

See http://word.mvps.org/faqs/general/InsertSpecChars.htm for more.
