Printing issues!
Hi Everyone,
I have a powerpoint organizational chart in ppt2003. The problem is when I set it to print to the color (networked) printer only I have to manually each time set it to print to legal. How do I default this PPT to only print to the color printer and legal size only? Also I've saved it and it always reverts back to 8 1/2 by 11 instead of 8 1/2 by 14. I am open to any suggestions? Thanks! Sarita |

From the sound of it, you're just changing the settings when you print it.
That won't save with PowerPoint. Go to FilePage Setup, and change it to the size you want, then save it. -- Linda Adams http://www.hackman-adams.com http://www.david-hedison.com "luscioussarita" wrote: Hi Everyone, I have a powerpoint organizational chart in ppt2003. Unfortunately, I've already tried that. Is there a way to designate the
printer to that PPT only. "Linda Adams" wrote: From the sound of it, you're just changing the settings when you print it. That won't save with PowerPoint. There are two options at work he The Windows Printer settings (which include a page size and orientation) The PowerPoint page setup (including a slide size and orientation) The Windows printer settings is what you get when you click Properties in the PPT print dialog box. Settings you choose there apply only for the current PPT session. You can change the printer default settings but then all your other programs would default to printing on legal paper; I don't think you'd want that. Afraid you're stuck with the current "Change it every time you print" situation. "Linda Adams" wrote: From the sound of it, you're just changing the settings when you print it.
