Default Paper Setings

Hi,

I have some users running an Access 2002 runtime app.
When they try and print reports, they default to Letter &
manual tray. The user tries to reset to A4 & Auto but
the settings are lost each time the report is opened.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Best wishes

Richard

Presumably you have saved these reports to use "default printer" under:
File | Page Setup | Page.

If so, the simple solution is going to be for these users to set up their
printers to use A4 paper from the automatic tray. They can do that by
opening Printers (from the Windows Control Panel), right-click and choose
Properties, and then work through the process of setting the paper size and
source. In Windows 2000 and XP this can be a little tricky for them, because
there can be multiple places where this needs to be set.

Access will open the report to the default paper size and source, so it will
work correctly once they get this right.
