Auto return to title screen
we are using power point 2003 and the presentation is built so that as each
presenter comes up, they click on their presentation within the presentation and links to a .pps file in the same overall presentation. What is happening is that during the course of some presentations, the .pps will automatically go back to the title slide with all the presenters links on them. The program is built so that at the end of each show, it reverts back to this title slide so that the next presenter just clicks on their name and it links seemlessly to their .pps, but we can't find why it's doing this in the middle of a presentation. We can't find any pattern nor can we find any problems while searching the slide show editor. Suggestions needed quickly. Thanks |

Check for Custom Shows within the shows. Perhaps someone has checked show &
return on Custom Shows (which is the same as hitting the ESC key) -- Thanks, Glenna Shaw Microsoft PowerPoint MVP Team http://www.pptmagic.com "FurlessWookie" wrote: we are using power point 2003 and the presentation is built so that as each presenter comes up, they click on their presentation within the presentation and links to a .pps file in the same overall presentation. Can you explain this in greater detail?
Or, if you are on microsoft messenger, you could contact me now @ furlesswookie.at.msn.com. I'm online now and could really use the help. My apologies, I was off-line.
From within the slide show(s), click on Slide Show, Custom Shows. If they have custom shows in them, they'll show up here. Also check all your links to your presentations from your title page. See Taj's tutorial for linking presentations: http://www.awesomebackgrounds.com/po...ls.htm#linking -- Thanks, Glenna Shaw Microsoft PowerPoint MVP Team http://www.pptmagic.com "FurlessWookie" wrote: Can you explain this in greater detail?
