Default Rundll32 on office 2002 in combination with vista

I installed Office XP pro 2002 in my new laptop with vista. (also uninstalled
office 2007 trial version) Outlook couldnt find default folders so I tried to
add this through control panel/mail/add new data file etc, but this ends with
the message: Windows host process Rundll32 has stopped working.
later on there is a message that this is due to an "exekvation protection"
(translated from swedish...) Word and excel seems to be working fine.
Grateful for any help that could get my outlook running

After downgrading from Outlook 2007 to Outlook 2002, you'd have to recreate
your mail profile;

Note that Outlook 2002 is not supported on Windows Vista. Solve one issue
and you could encounter another one.
