511735MainSP1op.msp AND not a valid WIN32
Windows Installer patch files (.MSP files) from previously applied Office
updates are missing from the \Windows\Installer hidden directory on your computer. MSP files are stored on your computer after update installation completes because they need to be referenced for future update operations. If the files are missing you will not be able to apply Office updates. You may also be unable to uninstall Office products as a result of the same problem. This is why I can't download my Office updates. (I installed the Trial version of Office2004 from the Download site & clicked on OfficeSTD.exe as instructed to run it, windows installer comes up "C:/OfficeSTD.exe is not a valid WIN32 application"! what is a win32?? Before this started coming up, windows installer came up and said "the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource unavailible, enter an alternate path to the folder containing the installation pkg."511735MainSP1op.msp" in the box below. & in the box below it says to use source "C:\Program Files\OfficeUpdate11\Cabs\511735\". Matter of fact thats coming up quite often! Ok I found a file that said Office11 on my hardrive where all my office 2004 stuff installed but won't work. Is that it? & if how do I make it work? Microsoft had me use window installer cleaner so I can reinstall Office 2004(no c.d) and now this C:/OfficeSTD.exe is not a valid WIN32 application keeps coming up! I'm running XP Home edition & have no office software at all running, period! HELP!!!! this has been going on for 2 wks. now~Adele |
