Single Line of Text in Table Row?
We are setting up forms in Word 2002 and have many rows that can only have a
single line of data. We realize that we can set the row height so that its height will stay fixed and the table will not "grow". However, we are converting from WordPerfect and it had a feature that let one designate that the row was either "single line only" (hide extra text) or "multiple line" (expand text to fit). If a row was set to "single line only", when the user pressed "Enter", it functioned as a "Tab" and moved the insertion point to the next cell, which was convenient for users. Is there an equivalent Word feature? TIA, Allison Orange Systems Project Consultant Florida Public Service Commission |
