Counting in Excel
I know nearly nothing about Excel syntax, so please be kind.
I have a list of people who are eating at a seminar. So far I have some blank cells, some N for no, some Y for yes. I want to count the Y cells to get the number of people eating. I have =count(b5:b100,Y) which does not work. I have the format at general if that helps any. Please don't laugh at my syntax. Thanks for your help. --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |
