Import export option in Outllok 2007

hi,

I am try and clikc on Import/Export option in outlook get an error saying
that the Import export engine is not started.
So ran the install and from the top choose run all from my computer.
But still i get the error message.

I cannot see the import export feature when i go to add remove components
also.

ANy idea. I am runnig Office 2007 Professional

I realize this doesn't answer your question, but why do you need to export?

Hi Brian,

I have got contacts from an Excel Spreadsheet and I need to import them into
Outlook. I have thousand contacts which cannot be typed i manually.

I realize this doesn't answer your question, but why do you need to export?
