Default custom header

Is it possible to link my custom header to the name tab on my work sheet? If
my tab name is March 2009, I don't want to re type this in my print header.
Also can these tabs be automated for example insert current date?

Which version of Excel?

2002 and newer have that functionality when setting up Custom Headers or
Footers.

Thank you for responding, I have the latestest version of excel/ vista

On Ribbon...................

InsertHeader and Footer

Click on the Options that you want.

Date.....Time........Sheet Name etc.
